2021 has been a year of great successes and achievements for Ridemovi, the leading company in Italy and Spain in the micromobility sector. The company strengthened its European leadership thanks to the expansion of the service and investments in technology. This exponential growth during 2021 will follow in 2022 with a strategic launch of the service across international markets.
Ridemovi implemented a smart mobility solution to raise the quality of life of citizens by giving simple access to a bike sharing system through an application. Local administrations immediately understood the potential, efficiency and effectiveness of this innovative service, and implemented urban mobility plans in their municipal area with the launch of the RideMovi bike sharing service.

The launch of the new RideMovi fleet
With a unique design and a particular focus on the development of innovative technologies, the arrival of the new fleet further confirms RideMovi’s leadership in the international shared micro-mobility market.
The RideMovi bicycle
The traditional bicycle is equipped with technological details already anticipated on the electric bicycle. The manual lock of the rear wheel has been removed and the ride can be closed with just a simple click via the app. The integrated mobile phone holder allows to navigate and easily reach the destination.
The RideMovi eBike
The performance of the new RideMovi e-Bike is extremely brilliant. The high quality of the components and patented innovations are able to guarantee the highest quality of a pedal-assisted bicycle in the bike-sharing market.
Technical Features of the Electric Bicycle:

- High-tech features: GPS and Internet of Things (IoT) technology.
- Autonomy up to 70 km.
- Smart and powerful engine with a top speed of 25km / h. ·
- Integrated pedalling torque sensor that compensates up to 95% of the effort required to pedal.
- Mobile phone holder that allows you to navigate and reach your destination easily.
The launch of the service in new cities
In 2021, the municipalities of Pisa, Rome, Vicenza and Santa Margherita introduced RideMovi bike sharing service as a sustainable mode of urban transport. As a consequence more municipal administrations are trusting and understanding the importance of investing in the RideMovi service as a way to introduce a faster transport mode, improving the quality of life and air. RideMovi is the only bike sharing company in the world that has managed to involve an increasing number of municipal administrations to promote the use of a shared micromobility service.
Generali investment in RideMovi
Generali, one of the major global players in the insurance and asset management sector and among the top 100 most sustainable companies globally, has invested in the capital of Ridemovi.
The investment by Generali will enable Ridemovi to extend its fleet to around 70,000 vehicles, further strengthening its leadership in Italy and Spain and opening up new markets in Europe and outside the European region. The growth of the fleet will be mainly focused on electric vehicles.
Donations in support of associations and students
In 2020 RideMovi supported with free rides hospitals, volunteer associations, local governments and law enforcement during a global emergency, making sure that they could move safely and respecting preventive measures of social distancing. In 2021 RideMovi continued its commitment to promoting the use of a simple, sustainable and fun vehicle like the bicycle, supporting beneficiary organizations and schools.
Thanks to the collaboration with Generali, RideMovi donated 80 bicycles to the beneficiary families of three non-profit centres in Milan: L’Albero della Vita, Mission Bambini and Centro per la Salute del Bambino. This new project represents the commitment of Generali and RideMovi to involve new generations in the use of zero-emission vehicles.
Also in 2021, RideMovi, in collaboration with the municipal administration of Lignano, donated a fleet of bicycles to the students of Isis Mattei Latisana school in Lignano Sabbiadoro.
A winning team

During our last team building, we toured Florence with the RideMovi eBikes, discovered enchanting places, admired the architectural beauties of the city, participated in a fun treasure hunt and reached Piazzale Michelangelo for a group photo.
